God’s House Must Walk in Unity

God says, “You are no longer outsiders.” You are no longer just sinners trying to work through life. You are called saints. You are called a believer. You’ve been sanctified by the blood of the Lamb. You’ve been redeemed by Jesus. You are set free and you have access into the throne room of God because the veil was torn, and you went in. You need to start living that way and stop living as a pauper, beggar, alien and immigrant.

When you’re here in the US illegally you act illegal. When you see the police, you cower and hide. I know! I used to have warrants out for me. Whenever I saw the cops I’d slide down in the seat. Today, I don’t have to do that! I have them in my church. That’s a good thing. Get that piece!

The scripture says, “But you now share citizenship with the saints (God’s own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to God’s own household.” I read to you from the Old Testament last week. I told you the parallels of this because the Old Testament is vital to your success. The Old Testament is so important for you to really understand the things of God. In that parallel of the Old Testament we’ll see a lot of this surface. God told Ezekiel, and in other places He said, “Build me a house.” He told Solomon, “Build me a house.” God wanted a house so He could show up in it. Now, God knows how big and how intimidating He is, so He understands that He has to create things like that so that human mortal men can handle it. Because, at one time, after Moses had been up in the mountain, Moses came down and said, “Oh, man! You’ve got to meet God! He’s awesome! We’ve been talking.” And the people were standing there saying, “Do y’all see his face?” And Moses is going, “Gosh guys! Why don’t you come with me? You won’t believe it!”
